Ye Lian is a student, Ling Mo childhood friend, and his love interest, who accompanied and helped him in all his tasks and difficulties, before and after the death of Ling Mo's parents. Until 2 weeks later, a deadly virus appeared and caused a zombie apocalypse across the world, causing Ye Lian to turn into a Zombie, starting to kill anything in her path, be it a zombie or a living person. She continued like this until she was found by Ling Mo, who used his powers on her to make her under his control, promising Ye Lian that he would turn her back into a Human. Throughout the story, Ye Lian becomes Ling Mo's first girlfriend.
